Artwork Requirements
1. Download one of our templates in either Adobe InDesign or Quark Xpress formats. Read the instructions within the templates & notes below regarding colour and file types. Valuebanner pricing is conditional on the use of our templates.

2. Create your layout, noting the bleed and other instructions contained on the template file. Convert any non standard or unusual typefaces to curves. Once complete, for Quark Xpress use 'FILE > COLLECT FOR OUTPUT' and send us the 'COLLECT' folder, for InDesign use 'FILE > PREFLIGHT > PACKAGE' and send us the entire save folder. Press optimised PDFs may be supplied, but please contact us for additional guidelines.

3. We can accept artwork on CD/DVD, via collection from your ftp hosting, or from web based file delivery services such as yousendit.com [please send to files@valuebanners.co.uk].

Colour
Please ensure all files, including imported images, are in CMYK format. Pantone or other spot colours may be used in page makeup but must be converted to process for large format printing.

Images
Photos, or scanned illustrations are most likely to be a bitmap format [TIF, JPG, PSD...]. For best quality, please ensure that these files are at least 200dpi when placed at 100% scale into our templates [which are at 50% final size]. For compressed formats such as JPG, please aim for the minimum amount of compression in order to maintain print quality.
Logos and line illustrations should normally be provided as EPS or AI files, made in a vector format scalable to any size without image degradation.

Colour
Please ensure all files, meet the bleed indicated on our templates. This is 5mm on the 50% template giving a final bleed of 10mm. If supplying your artwork in Press Ready PDF format, please ensure that bleed is set to 10mm and that the cropmarks are offset by 10mm.
